Max received a scholarship to attend and present at the ISAAC conference in Cancún, Mexico.  Max says…

Max presented the survey results of his year 12 research project called ‘The barriers to starting a conversation with a school peer who has complex communication needs.’

The aeroplane ride though………

Traumatic difficulties experienced travelling to and from Mexico we have gone to the Human Rights Commission to demand better accommodations for safer and more dignified travel for everyone. Below are some of my frustrations.

Max was inspired by ISAAC to organise communication catchups complex communication folk can practise their communication skills while doing interesting things and socialising. There have been 2 of these catch ups so far.
